OT: after the fall: help!

Hi all,

I sure do appreciate the clip and paste method! I just wish I knew how to do this so I am not adding to the length of these posts! Any directions?

Lena - so sorry to hear this! I hope your aftermath is minimized!!!! Keep us updated please.

I read with interest about the arnica. Does anyone think this would help for a long term lower back pain? My "owies" occurred when skating with my daughter's hockey team. I thought I was good on the ice, skating backwards and screwing around - I fell on my keester! So much for showing my stuff eh? Well the next day my right arm was numb. Had to do physical therapy. Anyway - most of my pain is concentrated in my lower back and knees/hip. Was just wondering if this arnica could help for "old" injuries kept new by the lyme & co attacking that weak spot?

Thanks all.

Jane

Jim - yes, I don't want to try everything, don't have money to do this. I don't have a heating pad - but will be investing! As soon as the State pays me. Do you think that might also help the lower back pain because the bugs hate the heat? Can I email you offline re the pain management?

Hi Tom,Thanks. I'm doing better than expected today, but I'm sure some of the wrenches won't make themselves known until tomorrow.:-p As for sleep, I've discovered that the more kefir I drink before bedtime, the better quality sleep I seem to get. I still awaken and go to the loo, but just two rather than three times, which is a help. I've just started Sleep Helper (wellnessresouces.com) and I think that's making a difference, too. I'm hoping that when they come, the two TCM remedies, Golden Book and 8 Flavor Rehmannia, will help my kidney chi and that those runs to the loo may stop.I haven't started teasel yet, but I've got my bottles all ready. I just came through some confusing symptoms and want to settle down a bit so I can keep track of what's what. I can feel for your insomnia. That's truly the pits. I started reading, but that exacerbated my dry-eye and uveitis, so had to do Benadryl (diphenhydramine) for a couple nights, which helped break the pattern a bit. I hope yours passes soon. Have you any brain tricks you use to drop off?Be well,Léna Lena, I'm sorry you had a fall. I hope you recover well and quickly. How's your sleep? I've been having real bad insomnia latley. hate it. I'm linking it to my teasel. so Im backing off for now. peace. Tom From: Cheryl Young <qcyounggmail>To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Tue, January 12, 2010 11:33:28 PMSubject: Re: OT: after the fall: help! Wow,What were his symptoms and what was he doing to get them dangerously high? Thanks,

Hi,

I have one thing to say about the Magnesium.. " Be Careful "   My dad is in the hospital right

now due to (Dangerously High Magnesium Levels)  If your levels get to high it can kill you.

They worked very hard to get his levels down and they are now checking to see if it damaged

his heart or kidneys.

Please be careful..

Blessings,

Tammy <><

Thanks and ,

I'll definitely up my magnesium tonight and use some mag gel with DMSO. I'm presently rifing aberrated cells in my long sequence of frx. I don't know which critters like the bumps (don't have a coil for specific area) but may switch to just the ABPA to correct whatever imbalances this has set up.

Hi MJ, I really don't know how I got rid of the tailbone pain as I was and am, doing so many things. Other intense pain is making up for the loss of the tailbone pain. Sorry to say, especially dumping metals and toxins with KPU. I do remember going to my Chiropractor helped at times. He does the non-force type. Joyce

Hi Joyce and Lena! Will someone please tell me how they got the pain out of the tailbone! As I posted before - I broke mine as well from skating! n Nothing I am doing is taking the pain away!

One other thing that helps me is to absolutely NOT check the time, as that seems to reinforce the body's habits. Then, in the morning, I sometimes forget if I woke once, twice, or three times, and that seems to work in my favor.Be well,Léna dropping off is the easy part for me. it's staying off that's diff. a little better last night but still interuptus sleepitus ater 4am, but without any ativan. I don't like saying this, but for me the farther away from teasel the generally better I sleep. so i've had to stop it for now. it puts me in a quandry i don't like but have been many times..... Do you take MSM powder?  This might help in healing in the long run.I'm trying to learn more about magnets (especially after reading Jim Humble's books and his bone healing w/magnets).  It might be worth a try? Confusing subject.  I'd like to try it on my thymus gland.

Hi MJ,The biggest thing for me was ergonomics. I needed to sit on a chair that tilted the pelvis forward, eliminating the rounded back and taking pressure off the coccyx. over time the problem simply went away. Many good office chairs have this tilt feature.

BTW, folding metal chairs are the very worst, but if you ever find yourself in a long conference or meeting. here's a tip:Take your shoes off, and insert the feet of the back legs of the chair into the shoe at its heel. This will shift the plane of the seat and bring a surprising amount of relief to your back. ;-) People may look at you funny, but you will be the wiser.

Be well,Léna

Years before I was dxd with Lyme, my neck was a mess (site of bite decades ago) discs bulging, pressing on the dura making arms numb, spurs, vertebrae looking like a train wreck, constant pain. This made working, driving, and sleeping very difficult. Had physical therapy, traction, you name it.I got a flexible Nikken magnet collar that covered neck and shoulders and it was the one thing, of many others, that really made a big difference. Unfortunately, after a couple years the rubberized composition got brittle and un-useable, but it served well while it lasted. Wasn't cheap though.Be well,Léna. Do you take MSM powder?
