Guest guest
There's something to be said about learning from different cultures. I tend to respect those who are in communion with nature, and get their resources from the earth, and revere their elderly, and take care of their sick, as people who can teach us alot. Guest guest
From: lyn55@... (Lyn Gottschalk) Mike, this is was people always ask me about. " Well why don't you just take enough meds to put you to sleep? " Answer is what you said, I find that drug induced sleep does not make me feel rested. ======= I always noticed that the pain meds actually keep me awake. If I sleep it's a sort of half-sleep, where you're aware that you're not totally asleep. I'm not noticing it as much with the Fentanyl unless I've needed to take the oxycontin or oxycodone, especially near bedtime.
Guest guest
Yup Ruthie I have noticed that on Fentanyl too.Wonder why.....but it definitley contributes to lack of sleep. I know that demon ! It happens to me a lot especially if I try to have a regular " in bed " nap during the day..like this afternoon. There is an expression in French which translates to " white night " which I think describes it well. You're asleep but wide awake or just floating in between and you get up feeling like crap. Guest guest
: :Oh yeaaah ! I know that demon ! It happens to me a lot especially if I try :to have a regular " in bed " nap during the day..like this afternoon. There :is an expression in French which translates to " white night " which I think :describes it well. You're asleep but wide awake or just floating in between :and you get up feeling like crap. : Is that what they call it?? I get it almost all the time if I try to take a nap in the bed/on the bed during the day. Thus I don't often do that. You're so right, I get up feeling just AWFUL.
