Guest guest
What a horror situation, no wonder you feel despondant. I can't answer any of you questions Adam, but who the hell is your Dr.? There is no way you should only be able to eat rice. I was 165kgs at banding, I have lost 60kgs and I eat heaps of stuff. Admittedly I cannot or do not eat bread or pastry. It made me very ill in the beginning so I just don't try. I was a huge butter and peanut butter/syrup eater so I figure if I can stay away from bread that's them gone too. I can eat a good meal though, cutlets, pork chop, chicken, pasta, small roast dinner etc. Being so young makes your situation worse too. Who wants to be 21 and living on rice? Why don't you tell us a bit more about yourself, size band etc. and see if we can kick start you before you go and have it out? This is a great , friendly and supportive group and there is also some reliable and helpful information available to us through Beverlee who is employed in the medical (band) field. Think about having a good old talk to Beverlee, I just know she can advise and help you. Gee, I think even I could. This is not a normal situation you are experiencing, there is a problem and I would say it is probably overfill.
