Ken and mentioned the large number of different drugs that they're on

and Ken mentioned some time ago that there might be a doctor who can give

us information.

I, too am on many prescription drugs and would be very interested to know

if any of them interact? Since I'm in Australia I've used the generic

names (with ingredients listed if appropriate) with the brand name in

parentheses:

sodium valproate (Epilim) - 1000 mg daily

sertraline hydrochloride (Zoloft) - 150 mg daily

doxepin hydrochloride (Sinequan) - 50 mg daily at night

ranitidine hydrochloride (Zantac) - 300 mg daily

oxazepam (Murelax) - 30 mg for sleep as required

oxycodone hydrochloride (Endone) - 10 mg for pain as required

pancreatin (Viokase) - 6500 IU three times daily

norethisterone (Primolut N) - 5 mg daily

ergotamine tartrate 2 mg, caffeine hydrate 100 mg and

cyclizine hydrochloride 50 mg (Migral) - 1 for migraines as required

budesonide (Rhinocort) - 100 micrograms per nostril daily for inflammation

beclomethasone dipropionate (Beconase) - for hayfever/allergies as req'd

No ... it's not my shopping list! :-)

So - does anyone know of any interaction problems with these?

Kit.
