Guest guest
Very interesting that you mentioned this! I am about to work on my own eyesight using a combination of herbs( Schulze's eyewash), Vitamin D, and exercises. My eyesight is pretty bad...20/300 approximately. A couple years ago I went without my glasses for several months and did exercises with alot of palming (a relaxing of the eye muscles). It definately helped, but from what I know now, just doing that could take years to change the eyesight. By utilizing herbs and nutrition, I am hoping to get significant changes in months not years. We have been building a house for the last 2 years, so I went off my " going without glasses " routine. Once we move in, very shortly, I will start this again. I am DETERMINED to dump these glasses that cause SO much eyestrain. I didn't realize how much eyestrain they actually cause until I went without them for a while, then when I put them back on, it's VERY apparent. It's amazing how much better I felt when I didn't wear the glasses or contacts. Your husband did very well to improve so much with exercises! Keep up the good work! My husband has glasses, has for most of his life. Well, we tried something a little different, eye excersizes. My husband does these off and on, in fact he has really never done these strictly very well, he may do them one day and then not for a week. When he started four years ago he was very very nearsighted, he could not really make out anything without his glasses on, including the TV. We are not sure of his exact prescription, but it was probably 20/2300. He also had an astigmatism. Now he has about 20/70 vision. The last two eye doctors he visited were very skeptical about giving him glasses that were less powerful. The first doctor was amazed, he had to take off 5 'clicks' from his machine from his last pair of glasses; whatever that means. We have just gone to different doctors complaining that the last one didn't get the prescription right!! Some people do find a good optomatrist who may be skeptical but do not mind. > > I was on the verge of needing glasses. I had 20/35 vision and almost didn't pass my driving test. I had had glasses earlier in life but quit using them because I hated them! I also worked my eyes down to 20/13 and I am still there without any further excersizing yet (I did this four years ago). > > I looked up the webaddress and it is only reserved now, he does not have a website anymore. Just type in a search for vision improvement and many of these systems will come up. My husband may need to do some vitamin or herbals with the excersizes towards the end here now if they do reach a stumbling block with improving. So far he is doing very well though. > > a Augustine > > I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright. > I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more. > I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive. > I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger. > I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. > I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. > I wish you enough ''Hello's " to get you through the final goodbye. > --anonymous > ----- Original Message ----- > From: safallon@a... > @y... > Sent: Monday, August 27, 2001 7:40 PM > Subject: Re: Having children > > > Dear Becky, > > My two parents both had perfectly straight teeth and good bone structure. > They both had a very good diet while young, that included cod liver oil. > Both have excellent eyesight. > > Myself and 3 siblings all had narrow palates requiring orthodontics. Guest guest
Since that website is unavailable, could you describe a bit about the exercises you do? I was doing the ones by Bates, in his book, Better Eyesight Without Glasses. Becky
Guest guest
Well here is the method in a nutshell: Our eyes are made up of muscles. These muscels will weaken if not exercized. Here is how to excersize: If you are nearsighted: using a book hold it at a distance when the words first become blurry. Open your eyes WIDE and stretch those muscles until the words become clear. Push the book out a little further and repeat. keep going with this as long and as often as you can He also sells a series of glasses with the kit which can be purchased at any drug store, sold as reading glasses. you will need a +1, +2, and +3's. because our arms only stretch out so far the glasses help to pull things further out when they are closer. Which glasses to use and how you use them will depend on how blind you are! I was only a 20/35 so I just put on the +2's and then went on to the +3's. My husband on the other hand needed start with the +1's over the top of his regular glasses, working up from there moving on to no glasses and finally just the +1's, 2's etc.... If you are farsighted: do the opposite! push the book closer to you Astimatisms will clear up without any special excersizes. These are just places in the eyes where the muscles are especially weak. they will actually strengthen first and my husband could 'feel' in his eye where the astigamtism actually was! He also suggests eyeball massages. a Augustine I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive.I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.I wish you enough ''Hello's" to get you through the final goodbye.--anonymous ----- Original Message ----- From: beckymauldin@... Guest guest
Hi! Apparently juice is brilliant for helping with eyesight. in Australia -------Original Message------- From: low dose naltrexone Date: 02/27/04 03:38:13 low dose naltrexone Subject: [low dose naltrexone] Re: idea for new website for LDN survey > My wife has lost 80% of her vision from what we believe is MS. > Does anyone know of improvements in eyesight after using LDN? The thing I had noticed with LDN was the fact that I am not as sensitive to bright lights in the early AM as before. Whish your wife the same or better!
