Guest guest
WOW I just had a Reflexology treatment about 40 minutes ago and although the massage is of the feet, it feels like w WHOLE body massage. Plus I got the therapists feedback on my stress levels and lungs. Right now I am as high as I was Friday but NO drugs, just an amaaaaaazing massage. . ****************************************** Milton |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
Guest guest
Funny, we were just discussing reflexology in the hottub last night. I would have had it done but the guy also offered to massage my breasts for me so the conversation ended rather abruptly. Anyway let me know how long the feeling lasts. BTW did anyone see Sally Jessie Raffael on Friday? Happened to turn the tv on just as she was talking with someone who had CFS. Apparently the show was entilled- " I'll do anything to feel better " . They talked about things like rofling and accupunture and herbology and stuff like that. It was interesting. Basically what they said that we should use alternatives medicines along with not in place off traditional meds or methods. ºº ºº ºø¥øºø¥ºøºø¥øºø¥øºø¥øºø¥øºø¥øºø¥øº You are doing a hero's job. It is now 4.05pm and the feeling has lasted well over three hours to this point. There is no reason, according to what I was told today, for the therapist who uses reflexology to touch anywhere other than your feet. The theory being that parts of the feet correspond to parts of the body. One key example for me is my high stress level at the job I am leaving in 5 days; the therapist found that inside part of each big toe was very sensitive, and what this corresponds to is the mandible or jaw area, and is commonly seen as a indicator of stress. I was told fairly emphatically that the reflexology therapist is not supposed to diagnose by what is found, but they can tell a lot if they are so inclined to do so. I was told that the section of my foot that corresponds to my chest is usually made up of slightly lumpy bits if the chest is congested, but in my case, the entire section on both feet was fairly solid ( which, if you follow the theory ) means that the chest problems are very significant. The treatment I got today was free, and I was invited to go back next Sunday for another treatment. Anyway, I have left the job I am at for many reasons, of which health and feeling like a commodity item is one. I don't have anything to go to, but I firmly believe I will have. If it turns out any other way, then that was meant to be. There are a lot of things in life that one takes on a degree of faith, and a degree of the idea of BELIEVING IS SEEING. Anyway, I don't regret leaving NEC, because that was and is something I have to do. The next stage is up to me, the intervention and help of others around me, and the chances that the Universe and guiding spirits will give to me. As always, The Best Is Yet to Come !! Guest guest
Well, I have had another reflexology treatment. I sure don't know what exactly happens, but the side effect of the treatments has been great. The regular Docs have been pretty lousy, but other areas have been fun. I played with a portion of the band I am in on Friday night, and during TEARS IN HEAVEN, just before my solo, the guitar jack popped from the Amp, and so no solo; the venue was somewhere between 50-100 plus, and although we were doing only covers, it was a buzz. During REVOLUTION ( Tracey Chapman ) , I don't play on Bass until a bit into the song, so I started doing the clapping motion and the crowd started clapping, and during TRULY MADLY DEEPLY, the Lead Singer ( who has a great voice ) got every one singing ... anyway, doing stuff you love doing is about the best therapy I can recommend. ( I hope this is not too off topic ) :-) . ****************************************** Milton PH: 61-3-95104017 |santeri@... | ----------------------------------------------------------- http://www.eisa.net.au/~santeri " Living is doing whatever you want to do; Dying is Everything Else " 'Tamara Lee' in MILLENIUM =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
