The answer to dealing with new causes of pain is you do it very carefully.

You should have some attention to determine if there is anything more than

soft tissue damage. It is a separate medical problem, but your existing

pain meds could tend to hide some of the injury's effects.

Same thing happens with dental problems & chronic pain meds, so you just

have to look after things with awareness that you could have hidden symptoms.

Also, I think maybe you should sit on the floor!
