Guest guest
So....is there a standard letter out there already that we can send to the various insurance companies asking to be added to their provider list? And, can we be on that list and still do fee for service? Honestly, I am not able to take less than I take now. I just really won't be able to feed my kids. For me, this is not a hobby. This is my livelihood. If the only way to work in the near future is via what an insurance company deems I am worth, well, I am not going to be able to do this at all. If I switch my work to doula work only, then the licensing nonsense goes through...I won't be legally allowed to help women with breastfeeding since I won't be licensed. Sheeze. I need a new career path yesterday. I am on one, but I am so going to miss my work. Really really going to miss doing what I love as I get regulated out of it ....is it too early for a glass of wine? -- Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC, RLCBirthing & Beyond, Inc.Labor Support and Lactation Consultant Services
