OT This group,Thane moderating, new person greatly appreciating this group.

I had been on some other Lyme groups, one of the child parent types has a heavy hand type feeling if you post anything that is not in line with AMA approved,FDA approved. I think moderator got that one under control but it isn't a good fit for me for the most part. I went to a group here and there, thought we had the situation under control and stopped going to any groups. Turns out we were dead wrong. Then I joined an awful group, extremely cruel, heavy handed type group/moderator and some of it's members were every bit as nasty. Then I came to this group and it is a breath of fresh air. So many people do different things, some don't work at all but they don't trash you if you think x does work or x doesn't work. It is so nice not to see people being crucified. People share so freely and lend so much support. Thane is an angel in my book. Poor guy suffers right along with all of you. Was going to sell the fillings out of my teeth to get a hyperbaric machine. Watching his journey saved us from spending big $$$. He is so factual about what works and what doesn't. Another thing that amazes me about this group is how people run the gamut from New Age to Devout Conservative Christian. No attacks, no one seems afraid to post. So many groups end up with a division along that line as well. This is an unbelievable group and I hope other Lymies find there way here because there isn't another that can compare IMHO.
