Maurice,

Am curious. If I were to get PCA that is powder, and mix it with

50/50 with normal saline....would I then have a NaPCA solution or

is my thinking off?

What I am thinking from the write up is this: " Skin's natural

lubricant " or whatever the wording was...and normal saline is

the plasma solution blood cells flow in....so........

PCA is DL-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid. Sodium PCA is sodium salt of

DL-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid or Sodium DL Pyrrolidone Carboxylate.

The first thing (and guess) that comes to mind is Sodium Hydroxide is

used to " neutralize " the PCA.
