No, that's not correct English syntax. If you change 'medial' to medially, and 'mid line' to 'mid-line' (or 'midline'), the syntax would be correct though I won't comment on whether or not it makes medical sense. Guest guest Posted September 26, 2005 Report Share Posted September 26, 2005 Hi Marie-Pierre, Both medial and midline are necessary. The point of reference is the midline of the trochlea groove. Other points can be medial or lateral to the midline. So the edge of the patella must be able to reach a point that lies medial to the mid line of the trochlea groove.
