Guest guest
I thought I saw a handout posted here with the pictures for stretching post laser? I haven't had the dentist I like doing laser tt for awhile because he was not doing them 'enough' but someone went to him for the lip tie and he offered to do the tongue...and she did it since she was already there. He did tell her to do the stretching and told her how, but I want to send her something with pictures...and I can't find it where I thought I saved it. The lip ties are so much nicer after laser than they are after scissor and I wish I could find pediatric dentists with laser capability in my area. This dentist is not pediatric but he started doing this because of his grandson. Cost is an issue, though because of course insurance is not going to pay while the surgeon it is paid. Have not had to worry with pediatric surgeon who uses silver nitrate since no reattachment or scarring is happening. Yes, I am following these babies for a few months...still no reattachment. But, for those moms who choose to let him do the tongue tie, I want something to help them do the stretching right and hoping instructions with photos will help. I did look at Dr. Kotlow's site but not finding it there ... probably not looking in the right area? -- Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC, RLCBirthing & Beyond, Inc.Labor Support and Lactation Consultant Services
