Guest guest
http://www.mercola.com/2003/dec/27/vitamin_d_quiz.htm I thought this was pretty interesting in light of recent discussion on the list about how much vitamin D might be too much. I don't intentionally avoid the sun, but I'm usually stuck inside all day, so I'm certainly not making enough, and unfortunately, there's really no solid data on how much I might be getting from my pork fat and grassfed dairy intake. Very frustrating, but it seems like supplementation experimentation might be in order. The pork I get is from pigs which are not, unfortunately, fed skim milk, though I'm looking into another source which is. Anyone know how much D pigs make on their own in the sun? IOW, how much of pig fat's high vitamin D potential comes from the pigs themselves and how much comes from the dairy waste they're sometimes fed? -
