Guest guest
Hello Everybody! I haven't been writing much 'cause all I have done for the last 11 days is cough and hack and wheeze! I had to go out when it was raining and the mold was high which started this seige a week ago Thurs. Then, my Dad threw a cookout for me on Sunday for my birthday and I got downwind of some charcoal starter! The minute I tasted it in my mouth I knew I was in trouble! So, it has been real hard to write with the racking spasms that have made me feel like someone has beat me with a two-by-four! It is depressing too...I see the laundry piling up, knowing that the walk back and forth to the laundry room will throw me into bronchospasms; I need to go to the grocery store, but can't imagine getting thru my shopping without breaking out in a coughing fit! I will just have to wait til my body( and the drugs I am putting into it) decides to get over this inflammation. Yeah, it gets to be very depressing, but THIS TOO WILL PASS! Since I do live alone I have found that I can roll with the moods or depressions. If I don't feel like doing anything, I just don't do it...the mood will switch after it gets thru the cycle. At other times I will be " up " and will literally kill myself getting the things done that did not even matter when I was down! *S* I have tried many of the anti-depressants, etc. but none of them worked for me. I applaud the folks who use them with some degree of success. The smallest dosage just literally made a " recliner rooster " out of me. Could be due to the Multiple Chemical Sensitivities or extreme allergies??? Thanks to the ones on the list that wrote me with advice and encouragement here lately. I do appreciate each and every one of you. I really feel compassion for the ones that are worse off than I...you notice I said I " walk " to the laundry room. *S* God Bless, Diane
