hi! we have a 14.11 yr.old male w/aspergers.we are currently having

alot of behavior problems(psy.aggression is most conserning )we live

in weatherford(w.of ft.worth) we have tried various meds through

yrs;alot in last few months : we can't seem to find any so far that

have been very effective w/agg.,thought processing

problems,persvating, " getting stuck " ,meltdowns,etc.i would appriecate

any comments on sucessful meds.that have worked on others. also

having problems finding drs. that work well w/as.(when we've had

ref.,drs not taking new patients)since nov.we've had 3

hospitalizations,each 14 +DAYS;have spent last month in a residental

treatment ctr(brown sch,austin)we've been fighting ins.(filed

compliant w/t.d.i.)but our days are numbered there.he'll proably be

home in next wk or 2(at best)and still aggressive.we have 2 girls(5 &

1 yr.old)and are very worried about their safty.i've contacted local

crcg and they were not helpful.i've talked to state mhmr,we'll see if

that'll make a difference. we want him to live w/us,but if

aggr.continues,i know we can't handle him. we might have to push

school dist. for residental ;has anyone had luck here? also any luck

in finding r.t.c.? another area:he's very sensitive to milk

products;been restricting them for yrs.(causes alot more

beh.problem,runny nose,etc)when he gets home, i want to have him

tested for leaky gut,etc stuff.any advice here?

we've been working w/him intensively forever,taken him for

professional help since 3 yrs.old.(multiple dias.) not properly dia.

until 10-11yrs,although we had learn mostly through trail and

error.even before dia.,we were on right paths.i've battled the

sch.intensivly for last 3 yrs.(had to go part-tme 2 yrs ago cuz of

him)anyway,i'm writting this to let you know we are not new here,we

have been working hard for yrs. we haven't given up so far,that's

why we're at our wits end on what to do with his aggression!

ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRIECATED! ALSO WOULD LIKE TO CONVERSE

WITH OTHER PARENTS WHO ARE/HAVE BEEN IN SIMULAR SITUATIONS. THANKS-
