19.5. They gave us lots of drinks along the way.

I have attached a picture from google earth if anyone is interested, I hope

it goes through. I can upload my tracks from my garmin forerunner to google

earth and see where I walked, it’s kinda fun.

The had a raffle and I won some leki Nordic walking sticks worth about $80,

so I did well! I already have two pairs so I’m going to give one away.

I’m pretty tired now, this is the first time I have walked this far in about

20 years!

That is great, Kathie! Congratulations!! You have motivated me to

go out and do my walking today even though it is almost 6 pm and

still over 95 degrees here.

I know Laurie is looking for hiking gear - maybe she could make a

deal for your walking sticks?

Nice walking.

A quick conversion for those that don't realize just how far that is

19.5 kilometers = 12.12 miles

20 kilometers = 12.43 miles

Thanks, Gerard. I never can keep conversions in my head and too lazy sometimes to look it up.

I can't keep them in my head either & the quickest way to look them up is via

the internet at

http://www.onlineconversion.com/

which is Online Conversions

A very handy website to " Bookmark " or add to " Favorites "

Thanks Gerard,

I went there and bookmarked it immediately. So nice to have this at my fingertips.
