Carol,

Sounds excellent and easier to make than the one I know of, although this

may be somewhat easier to take..

Garlic Syrup

Place one pound of peeled, minced garlic in a wide-mouthed 2-qt jar. Almost

fill the jar with equal parts apple cider vinegar and distilled water.

Cover and let stand in a warm place for 4 days, shaking a few times each

day. Add one cup of glycerin and let it stand another day. Strain and

filter the mixture with pressure through a muslin or linen cloth. Add one

cup of honey and stir until thoroughly mixed. Store in a cool place.

Excellent for coughs, colds, sore throats, bronchial congestion, high or

low blood pressure, heart weakness and nervous disorders. Dosage: one

tablespoon three times daily, before meals.

(I personally haven't experimented with these heavy-duty garlic remedies,

because I seem to not tolerate much garlic. Maybe due to the inulin

content? Not sure.)

on display at his stand. It was Garlic in Honey. He sells the garlic.

You take a jar (any size) and fill it with peeled garlic cloves, then

cover the cloves with honey. Cover and let sit till the mix turns a

dark brown. Take a clove when feeling ill. He swears by it for colds

and the flu.

I haven't had the time to try it yet but intend to make a jar.
