We've just had our second appt with our DAN doctor. He started my 27

month old son on taurine and acetyl-L-carnitine (ALC). I've read

about taurine but not about ALC. Anyone have input on either?

ALC is a very good product. We saw good improvements when we first started

that. More complex verbalization.

From previous CSB posts about Carnitine from Dr JM...

I usually use L-carnitine; though A-L-Carnitine is supposed to be a better

absorbed form, I have found it caused hyperactivity in some kids (and

adults). Dr. JM

L-Carnitine: good for low muscle tone. L-CARNITINE IS GOOD FOR PROPER
