Hi

I'm new here. My fiance (46) is on the transplant list at the U of MN.

His MELD was a 27 and now is a 17. Does anyone know anything about the

U of MN?

Hi, Sandi. I want to welcome you to our group. I do not know any thing about

the university of MN but at least your fiance has found himself at a

transplant center and is the process. If you stick around long enough, you will

be horrified to see how many folks end up here, with a positive diagnosis,

biopsy result, but no direction whatsoever, lost and scared and it is so sad.

We try not to play doctor by giving medical advice, but sometimes you cant help

urge them to get to a hepatologist and a transplant center. There are some

people on here who live in Minnasota, so you might have some luck getting some

feedback. If I can do anything for you guys, let me know. I also have a blog

which is my liver's view of the world.

Click on your state

Then Liver Centers

Then your hosptial

It will show the statistics for your hospital

You should also go to

http://www.transplantliving.org/

Go to resources

Go to online store
