maybe the Fall of V in V is just that - the revelation that the feminine in

its humility [humus] is present n visible to us in earth.

i have been to Knock in Ireland twice, bef n aft the Pope's visit to

commemorate the vision of that was seen by 40 people in 1879 - there was

such a light outside the church that a farmer ran across a field thinking the

church was on fire. it was raining but beneath the vision it remained dry.

the first time i went, the church was tiny n people walked widdershins ar

saying the rosary - many healings -n little wooden stalls selling replicas of

mary, st patrick, fr xav n leprechauns! a very lovesome exper

the second time - in 1980 was miraculous indeed, as i sh relate. a huge

basilica had been built to Our Lady Queen of Ireland, circular. subway signs

to holy water! BUT an icon almost holographic was extraord - it depicted

w/lamb at her feet n prehistoric symbols on one side n christian equivalents

on the other! i got a booklet ab the icon n disc it was designed by periests

inspired by the work of mythologist Mircea Eliade!

i was w/my 9 yr old grandson n he wanted to go into souv shop n while he was

browsing, i disc a wall of Wild Goose reprod of early celtic bas-reliefs.

took dwn one depict 4 rowers in a curragh rowing to heaven. looked on the

back n disc a label stating that it might be of St n off to disc new

world; or be symb of church bearing souls of faithful thru seas of adversity

TO HEAVEN; or AS IN JUNG PSYCHOL THE 4 FUNCTS LEAD THE PSYCHE TO

INDIVIDUATION!

so that was my miracle - disc jung in this holy spot. i wrote the W Goose

studio n found that the owner was a jungian psych in London,

SCOTT-mCcARTHY. we corresp, met in London, n he had me lect to Grand Rounds

in Royal Free Hosp, do charts of patients, n lect to Analytical Psych Club.

we have remained fast friends n W n I were godparents of his youngest

daughter. fa's analyst knows him.

unbelievable connections! the W G studio still pours out BEAUTIFUL plaques n

many w/jungian references.
