Guest guest Posted November 1, 2001 Report Share Posted November 1, 2001 I made beet kvass this past Saturday. I tried it on Tuesday and it didn't seem to be working. There was no fizz to it. So I have kept it out till today. Now it looks like mold is floating on the top. Can I still use it? Isn't it supposed to get fizzy like the fruit drinks? I made some apple drink, using the same whey, at the same time and that turned out great.What am I doing wrong? What should the finished product look like and taste like?
