I have been quiet up until now. You are the one with so much anger.

I have been on alternatives for years and continue to incorperate them with

my AP. I am a healer and I have many dear friends who are considered healers

in the field of alternatives. Unfortunately it is your inability to see the

need for both and your need to attack this group who is open nurturing and

supportive of all members.

Your anger only hurts you more and your rightiousness is self alienating

I belive you have what I have psoriatic Arthritis. I use AP and alternatives

to help control it an did for years before I was diagnosed. I have relief

from using it .

Ive used what is considerd alternative since the 60's and it has brought me

here. I never took antibiotics ever in my life and now I do because I have a

disease that will only get worse if I dont. In order for my body to get back

its control I use vitamins, herbs, diet , and AP

My doctors are a homeopath,herbalist, chirorpractor,acupuncturist,

rheumatologist and psychologist. I choose my health and I do it wisely....

friendly in previous posts it wqas when I felt i was attacked that I

I just thought I ought to mention that I have been lurking on this list long

enough to notice a pattern.

When someone posts something directly challenging Dear 'ol Masterjohn, the list

is suddenly hit with a " Tittles " type graphic post, and then the subject

line and even content of that post is repeated endlessly by the young master,

and his buddies.

Me thinks its Time for a female moderator.

Your pattern-recognition ability leaves much to be desired.

What an incredibly sexist insinuation - that all females are

prudes! Just because _you're_ sexually repressed and without

any sense of humor, doesn't mean that all women are. I'm not

a Christian, Muslim or a religious Jew, so why should I defer

to _your_ religious sexual taboos? You people are no longer

able to burn at the stake those of us who don't share your

beliefs about sex, and you certainly can't censor us here.

I forgot to mention this in my last post. While I do want to move on from

this subject, I do find this form of sexism she continually expresses very

irritating. In the last attack she made on my character, she defined what

" girls "

want out of relationships, and claimed that girls do not have sex for its own

sake. This is of course entirely ridiculous, and I know quite a few girls

that would be very, very, insulted at this form of sexism, which is a myth that

supports the sexual double standard that women are finally breaking free from

in my generation.

I thought so, but I was informed by someone a couple generations older than

me that the double standard continued for a while.

Well, I'm not any of the above either, but from a purely LOGICAL

view ... have you noticed that ALL of these ads are aimed at guys?

Not that this is an issue in my mind as to the gender of the moderator,

but really, I am INSULTED, INSULTED I tell you, that not ONE spam

I have recieved is geared to appeals to females. Well, my www.cooking.com

might, but I subscribed to that so it doesn't count as spam.

What amazes me is: someone must be " biting " to these ads or

they would die out. And it just can't be mostly ladies.

I'm as feminist as they come, really, but the idea that women and men

are identical died somewhere in the 70's. It doesn't take a lot of

research to figure that out (look at hormone levels and DNA, for a

start). But I don't think the idea that " we need a female moderator "

was meant as " all females are prudes " . The whole post seems pretty

much in jest (I don't think is posing as either -- actually

*I* am , in my alter-ego personality where I work for Haliburton

in an extra money-making scheme (if you believe that I have a great

bridge I want to sell you).

Heidi,

I agree that the porn market is dominated by men (thought *definitely* NOT

only by men) but the ideas that Ring seems to be tying together such as casual

sex and perhaps even oral sex being the domain of men rather than women, are

both sexist and false. I'm sure no one on this list is biting for

Titties, and clearly the sex of the moderator has no relation to their ability

or

motivation to keep out spam.

I think you probably meant " Chippendales " clubs

unless you're actually talking about strippers for lady

chipmunks. In which case I'm sure the " girls " are far

more interested in the dancers' nuts than anything else.

Although I'm sure such a club would be a good place to

go if you're just looking for a little tail.

Not to mention illogical. Vertically or otherwise, it takes two to

tango.

Oh, I agree and certainly I don't think YOU are (though

if it was meant in a joking sense it could be humorous).

I don't think those kinds of " activities " are the sole

domain of men either ... I've just never met a woman

who would *pay* to see a man naked (though we

do seem to pay for " romance novels " a lot).

---------------------------------------------------

Don't you have the mags for women over there with the sealed section of naked

men? Cleo or Cosmopolitan or something. It's the sealed sections that sell

them! I've also heard of porn sites for women - admittedly far far less than

those for men (but hey, women look at the men's sites too). Sure there's a

hormonal difference, but there's also a cultural difference. I agree with Chris

that each generation breaks more and more barriers in this regard. Friday

did a lot in the seventies to show that women have sexual fantasies and

appetites too (as shown in her 3 volumes of collected women's fantasies). We're

finally breaking out of that " good girls don't " crap.

Filippa

ps. got a bit stuck with what I should change the subject line too. I

contemplate something like " naked men " or " women's fantasies " but then I decided

that it might just be mistaken for spam. So 'For the Record' it stays! ;-)

Dearest ,

Thank you for your displayed appreciation of the site and quizzes.

You will do well because you have prepared well. You have left no

stone unturned! And that determination alone is what will lead you

to triumph! Please keep me/all of us informed on how well you think

you did and how well you actually did. More importantly how your

career as a pharm tech takes off and progresses.

Now regarding the hoods I believe what Dora and others posted will

be enough to get you through the exam questions. However when your

brain is back to normal (post test syndrome = mush for brains for

about 1 - 2 weeks, wanting nothing to do with pharmacy study) you

may want to take a look at the " files " section

under: " Tutorials, then under:

1. " Tutorial - Aseptic Technique - Gloves.doc "

Gloves and hands, and more! 55 KB posted by rxjm2002 11/16/2003

2. " Tutorial - Aseptic Technique.doc "

Hand washing/scrubing, supply gathering and more! 227 KB posted by

rxjm2002 11/16/2003

3. " Tutorial - Flow Hoods.doc "

What Flow hoods are and how to clean them 119 KB posted by

rxjm2002 11/16/2003

Go to:

Files > Tutorials - 1 > Tutorial - Aseptic Technique 1 8196 Kb used

of 20480 Kb total

There you will find in the third tutorial called " Tutorial - Flow

Hoods.doc " , great photos and drawings and also some sites that are

about aseptic technique and hoods. You will benefit from this

tutorial as there is more than just basic information in it, if you

plan to work in hospital or with IV's

In the meantime know that you ARE well prepared! you will do just

fine!

Respectfully,

With love,
