I have a health shop leaflet extolling its virtues for skin problems. It's marketed as Zambesia botanica by A.E. Hobbs Ltd Tel 01892 546565 email aehobbs@... Hi, Funny you should mention it, I've had an enquiry this week too - the mother had already got hold of some and it had worked well... ....however, there are two " types " of the cream - one with steroid content and one without... The suppliers will only sell to chemists and practitioners - but she couldn't seem to find any. Apart from being a tad (!) unethical to hide steroids in a " natural " product, this would, of course, not be in our prescribing arena. Other comments would be interesting to see - perhaps a straw poll of how many of us have come across this cream might be interesting... All the best, Benn -- Benn Abdy- MNIMH benn@... Guest guest
Trease and says Kigelia contains napthoquinoids and iridoids and has antibacterial qualities NB One sometimes hears of products turning up from unregulated countries with liberal dollops of steroids in them - that might produce a change overnight, or a criminal investigation, depending......which of course brings to mind the topic of.......oh, er.....never mind! African Wau wu eczema cream & where can I get creams etc. analysised? > Dear All, > I have had two separate enquiries this week regarding a 'herbal' cream from > Ghana called Wau wu cream which is being sold for childhood eczema and has > produced improvements over night. Has anybody heard of this cream? Why not just recommend hemp seed oil cream as produced by our very own Stuart Fitz. I have found it almost 100% effective in childhood eczema, and you don't need to worry about strange ingredients and possible contaminants (and he'll tell you what's in it). Cheers Graham White B.Sc.
