Guest guest
According to ‘Cure Unkown’ and other sources (can’t remember at the moment), Fibromyalgia is the most common misdiagnosis of Lyme disease. I was dx with Fibro 13 years ago, but just a few months ago found out it was Lyme. The symptoms are virtually the same. Lyme messes up your hormones and Fibromyalgia is basically low thyroid/low adrenals. It’s really all the same thing. I took my amalgams out about 10 years ago. It took a while for me to see improvement, but I always say it was one of several things that made me feel better. But I didn’t know anything about chelating or going to a good dentist. I only had 2 or 3, so it wasn’t horrid, but it’s a wonder I didn’t get sicker! The thing that helped my Fibro was balancing my hormones. I started doing that and within a month I was a completely different person. I have not stopped my hormone therapies, but have simply added Lyme killing therapies! I think hormones are a major component to getting better. I feel that not addressing them we are doing a disservice to ourselves. I’d check his cortisol levels. The irritable, aggitated, negative response to supplements sounds like lack of cortisol. Muscle tone/strength has a lot to do with growth hormone. GH helps open the receptors for all the other hormones and makes them able to do their jobs. Have you checked your GH levels? Just my thoughts… From: Lyme_and_Rife [mailto:Lyme_and_Rife ] On Behalf Of H Sent: Thursday, January 14, 2010 1:17 PM To: Lyme_and_Rife Subject: Re: Re: OT: Fibro Jane WAS Mold and Doxy (was) OT:MMS & Acne & merry-go-round My personal thought is that probably all fibro is Lyme; but that's another story! ;-) Or Ciguetera (I know I'm not spelling that correctly. See Dr. Cheney's research.) I'd agree that most of it is Lyme. Probably the same for Parkinson's, MS, etc. Probably the best thing I did for the fibro pain was DLPA. It is an amino acid that is very good for fibro type pain. It also helps with evening out the crankies. I would take up to 3,000 mgs in a day. Being an amino acid, it is relatively harmless. Not contradicting here, at all, but I gave my 15 year old one dose of DLPA and it greatly magnified his aggitation and rage. It was crazy. He has been irritable and aggitated since birth. (His Lyme test results should be in anyday.) He has either not responded to any amino acid supplementation or has had a negative response (just like his mom ;-). Which really boggles me because of all the research I've done on aminos. My fibro symptoms recovered 80% when I had all my amalgams taken out 3 years ago. If you still have mercury in your teeth, get it out!!! Encouraging words. What did you use to chelate and bind? When all else fails - Excedrin!! ;-) I almost succumbed to this half an hour ago. Went for Alka Seltzer Gold instead, it's helping a little. You are very active and that is wonderful!! I hope you can keep it up. Once you stop, it is difficult to get it back. I can't play tennis any more or even lift anything very heavy. Someone has to go grocery shopping with me to lift the bags. A year ago Thanksgiving, I got my grocery cart 3/4 full and I crashed (not my cart LOL). I had to call my hubby for rescue. You're not alone, now I just grabbed a few things and go more often. Yuck. I keep hoping to recover my muscles! Teasel/MMS/GSE has helped with the brain stuff, energy and over all well being, but I have not been able to recover my muscles yet. I've been hearing a lot of good things about those whole body vibration machines. Just standing on one is the same as a 60 minute workout (so they say). They also claim they're great for lymph drainage. The drawback is the expense $400-12,000. From my research it looks like $1,,600 is the least you'd spend for a good machine. Has anyone used one of these? Glad you are part of the group!! Cheryl
