Hi,

I've read it. I don't want to seem like the kind of person who answers

a post just to be negative, but I hated it. This is for two reasons: 1)

the ideas had been put forth already in a much more interesting

non-fiction book written in the 1980's called 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail';

2) I think Dan Brown is a horrifyingly bad writer.

However, I know what you mean about the historical information. Brown

made some things up, but quite a bit is true. If you're interested, you

really should read 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' and look up some info about

the mystery of Renne Le Chateau. I'm not saying everything in HBHG is

perfect and unimpeachable, either, but it's a lot more detailed.

Oh, and by the way - they are making it into a movie. It's supposed to

come out this year. Ron 's directing, and it has Tom Hanks and

Audrey Tautou in it.
