What to do when your GP doesn't think lapband is a good idea??????

Hi, Saw my family doctor this morning, who seemed to take a very dim view of lapbanding. I have been to this doctor for many years and have always held his opinion in high regard, but now I am not so sure. He seemed to be suggesting that it was an 'easy way out'. However, from reading the posts etc, it doesn't seem to me like an easy way out. Anyway, he has given me the following names: 1. Dr Roy Branctiscanso (Castle Hill) 2. Dr Fenton Lee (St 's Private Hospital). 3. Dr Ritchie (Macquarie Street - I think). 4. Dr Dumbrell. 5. Dr Talbot. What I want to know is how do I choose from the above surgeons? Are they all as good as each other? My GP was hopeless and said draw a name out
