Guest guest
Wellbutrin doesn't increase dopamine in humans. It increases norepinephrine. Norepinephrine provides energy but too much norepinephrine causes anxiety and even panic attacks. See posts by Dr no (aka marianco) in this thread, especially #7: http://thinksteroids.com/forum/mens-health-forum/acetylcholine-and-libido-134239817.html A more mild, natural and safer way to increase norepinephrine and dopamine is by taking the amino acid L-Tyrosine. >> I was wondering if anybody here can recommend some dopamine supplements for me. I have been suffering with symptoms of low dopamine for about a week or so and it doesn't seem like things are getting much better. It is causing me to not learn much in school and I need a solution. I believe that this low dopamine factor has become evident for me due to fibromyalgia symptoms. It really sucks. It feels like I am not aware of my surroundings because I am in a fog, plus I am tired ALL the time (mainly mentally tired). These symptoms are seemingly opposite of my original nature, I was always hyperactive. I was prescribed Wellbutrin SR 100mg and I have not decided if I will go down that path yet.> > I am convinced that my problems are from low dopamine right now. I need to raise it to start feeling better and live a normal productive life. I do exercise but I don't know if that is enough to produce the desired effects for me. Any suggestions on raising awareness and feeling good overall? I never wanted to go down the prescription route, but I fear I will have no choice if fibro symptoms eventually make me feel like a vegetable.>
Guest guest
You can naturally increas dopamine by taking amino acid precursors such as l-tyrosine and/or mucuna pruriens. As with increasing serotonin can reduce dopamine, you have to be cautious not to end up reducing serotonin too much by increasing dopamine too much. The two both need to be balanced at the same time. > > I was wondering if anybody here can recommend some dopamine supplements for me.
