My son is fairly sensitive, so I don't like to give combo supps. If you give DMG, B12 and folic separately, you can better assess the problem. It also could be a problem that you gave him a full cap. You might need to start with a tiny dose and work up. My son was not able to tolerate the folinic acid until we got it in a transdermal from Coastal Compounding. And he never could tolerate DMG at all. But TMG has been great for him. Lynne
Guest guest
Hi Lynne, Thanks very much for the advice! Do you know where I can get the DMG or TMG without the folinic and B12 mixed in? In the meantime I'll take your advice and reduce the initial amount of DMG from 1 caps to 1/4 caps as he is already getting some DMG without problems through the BCN spectrum support he is taking. This is the brand Jill used in her study. When we tried DMG, we bought Country Life brand from Whole Foods. There are lots of brands of DMG available at health food stores. Guest guest
Lynne, Thanks for all your advice around DMG. Having looked at the BCN product he is taking that contains TMG and he seems ok with this so maybe I should switch to straight TMG. Jack also has a problem with the folinic so he is not currently taking this. With many thanks Re: Problems with quintet - any ideas? > Do you know where I can get the DMG or TMG > without the folinic and B12 mixed in? I buy the TMG from lifeextension.com.
