Guest guest
I was going to post some pictures on here but I saw there was a limit on the megabytes allowed. I have not posted anything, but there are 10 of the 30 MB used. Is this a limit per person or for the group as a whole?

If you exceed any limits, it's always easy to remove them again. Besides, most members don't post any pictures at all, so I'm sure you can use their quota for the time being. Guest guest
Sparrow: I decided to become un-shy for a moment and post my picture. I look kind of funny in it because I took it myself, using the mirror. But no one else takes pictures of me, so I had to do it that way. :-) Great to get to see you. Another good-looking Aspie for our collection! ;-) Anyone else who hates having their picture taken btw? Since I've got the webcam and can do it myself, its somewhat more bearable. But having another person at the other end of the lens has always felt very uncomfortable to me. Though once taken, I've always found pictures of myself fascinating. Once, as part of a training in awareness and self-awareness, each person in the group got video-filmed talking for a few minutes and then we sat down and viewed it together. It felt very weird to see oneself on film; one's body language, facial expressions etc. I had absolutely no clue that I came across like that. And still don't, since I can't see myself from outside - I always get surprised to hear other people's impressions of me. Inger
Guest guest
: > I have had much the same thing said about me. Many times people have said I look angry or at least deep in thought, but whatever the case may be, unapproachable. Perhaps what it is is simply the look of being intent and knowing what you are doing that puts people off. For example, when shopping, I pretty much know exactly what I want and want to get it and get out. Most others seem to like to browse and chat and so on. Idle chat with strangers also makes me uncomfortable and is something of a waste of time. Talking to them doesn't make the time pass any faster and the odds I will learn anything useful from them are about the same as my seeing them again. LOL! I'm exactly the same! I usually know precisely what I'm looking for so I walk into a shop, systematically scan the each shelf in a very Terminator-like fashion and within seconds I've either seen something that I want to look closer at or not. If not, I turn on my heel and head out again, preferrably before that staff starts initiating contact and delaying my exit. Shopping is a very quick affair for me.
