My sister had saline implants in 2000 and she been ill since but believes the root cause to her health problems is because of a staph infection she got after a separate emergency surgery needed for a cut on her hand in 2000. She has experienced all the symptoms that were stated as side effects on the website however noone feels there is any linkage to the breast implants. Instead, she was diagnosed with Bechett's disease in 2002. This year she had had recurring bouts of Shingles but no treatments seem to help. She is very defensive about even considering that the implants could be a source of problems.
