Guest guest
Hi , You might try to explain to your sister that since implants are a foreign object that the body naturally tries to reject them by setting up an immune response. When the immune system is off and is then presented with bacteria (like staph) or a virus ( like shingles) it is then compromised in fighting these bugs and they can become chronic. You will be hard pressed in finding a doctor who will agree that the implants are the problem unless you can find a good naturopath or osteopath to take her to in your area. Where do you live? Also, if you could get her to read some of the stories in our files section she might begin to see the connection. There is a Dr. Leu who has been working with a few of the girls on our site and he seems to be very good. He will work with you by phone and do testing via mail. I don't have his contact info but Kenda can give it to you if you decide to try him. It's wonderful that you are concerned for your sister, , and I hope you can convince your sister to at least consider that the implants are at the root of her problems. All you can do is try. In the end it is her decision. We will be here to help when she does come around. Good Luck . Guest guest
Anita, thanks for the response and suggestions! We live in Connecticut and I will recommend that she try to contact Dr. Leu. I will try to send Kenda a note to get the contact information. Thanks!
