Guest guest
I have used oregano vulgare and oregano onitas for years to fight off germs and kick the bugs before they get a head start. It is good stuff. I also know personally one of the largest producers of those oils in Turkey, how it is grown and distilled. THAT to me makes all the difference , if I take it internally. Most oils on the market are highly diluted and do not have the potency one needs. Oregano essential oil is not one you do want to take full strength, unless you diffuse it. You need to take it diluted with good olive oil 3:1 and a good way to get it down is by putting some on a piece of bread and than rolling the bread into a 'pill' to down. Water does not mix with oils and therefore is not a good 'chaser'. Milk will bind with oil and does work. I do keep a small vial of essential oil of oregano vulgare with me, most of the time and when I have been in public places where I feel a lot of germs are in the air, I take a sniff...so far , so good... Does it help asthma? Not much, but it is of help to not get bronchial infections and that helps breathing. C-M
Guest guest
HI Christa , It's been a while since we talked. Thankyou for your input. Did you find that it helped get rid of excess mucus in the lungs ? I did learn that there is an external and an internal oregano oil. I have used the external with almond oil to put on the skin for arthritis. I will have to try some with olive oil and bread. , would you mind sharing that web page agian. I had it for a while and than lost it. The one with all the herbs and oils on it. Thanks so much. Hugs, Anneliese
