Guest guest
Hi , i am just wondering whether or not Dr B. had the 'circle of care' prorgam when you had your operation performed? I am due to have my band done on 19 June 2006 and it worries me when I hear that you guys got no support. Libby :-) Hi AdamI was the same as you, had my band done by Dr Brancatisano and go no support after.I got sick of this and went to Dr Talbot, who soon sorted out my band, and I am losing weight again. He also bulk bills, so it wont cost you anything. Before you think about removal, go and see him about your band and get it working for you again.Good luck,
Guest guest
Dear Adam I was so saddened when I read your post, not to be able to eat well, and feel like you do is terrible. Adam, I think you need heaps of support and really good advice, please do go and see someone who can give you the help you need. Morbid obesity is a killer, and you have come so far already, get the support you need to go forward again. Guest guest
-Hi Libby The circle of care was only just starting, so I missed out on it. I found his fill system time consuming, impractical and expensive. However, he is a wonderful surgeon and when I was banded he was great and I trusted his experience and knowledge. Because I live in Wollongong I cant afford the time off work to drive and hour and half to see him and then go back for fills on another day with more driving. Dr Talbot comes to Wollongong 1 day a week and does the fills himself in his surgery. Simple, cheap and effective, which is how you want your band to be. I dont want my band to rule my life, but enhance it. Im sure he will do the right thing for you, and Dr B is a huge spunk! Take care,
