Beth, this is my opinion from what I have studied at seminars and mercola, and books I have read. Its such a hard topic, you dont know what to believe. But, I just follow what most all the professiionals agree on. I didnt want to be radical and not vaccniate, at all. Who wants to be up against that?

However, I only had a total of 6 shots or mixed incolulations before kindergarden, while Tyler would normally get over 33 incolations, or about 18 shots. We are fine, my mother had even less as a child, so we do these kids need so much? I think that although vaccinations are a grand idea, and work well in some cases, they are overrated and abused by money hungry pushing manufacters on our children. Ok, enough of that! Sorry!

I went to a great seminar by the professor of pediatrics at Loyala University, who is DR as well as Father. Wonderful event! Learned a great deal. He, as well as Mercola, I realy value. Mercola has a good tape as well as A video to order. Good info.

I would stay away from the b hepatitis shots, as they arent effective over 5 years and use alot of embronetic aborted tissues, which is controversial if this causes an auto immnue reponse in children having another person's tissues forced into your body. Auto reactions like allergies, asthma, and diabetes. They dont know long term damage. I also have all shots administered one at a time, then give the body a month to get over it. So an apt once a month, or several months apart. I dont go by their time line mostly. Its more spaced out, as far spaced as possible to be legit. Ask that all vaccinations are mercury, thermisal free, and if concerned about a mercury free MMR, you can ask them to split up the mercury free mmr shot into 3 seperate dosages. They can do that.

Another one of concern is the chicken pox one. I opted out of that, and one easy way is to say, you think, or lie and say she had it already. Most think it isnt necessary and having it, actually teaches the body, while young how to build its immunity up the natural way and fight a easy viral infection, later helping the body to take on more serious infections and illnesses. AS well, as it only effective about 8 years, and the child then has a great potential to contract it older, only now as shingles. Ever have shingles? I did right after explant, caught it in time, but man, it was painful to the small extent I had it. And known to trigger diseases and cause permanent neuro damage.

So, summary- heed away from hepatitis, possibly the chicken pox, split up the mmr, and make sure the others are are mercury free, oh and no flu shots! No good. Useless in my opinion. The rest as deemed to be safe and around a long time, so we know most of their affects. Helped? Love

I just wanted to add that I worked in a preschool and saw several

youngsters come down with the chicken pox even though they had the

shots. My daugher who is now 17 started having miniature seizures

within days of her first dpt shot. I didn't know what was wrong with

her but knew it was something. For a week she was listless, chewed

her tongue, and clenched and unclenched her fingers. then she

started

popping her pupils back and forth rapidly in her eyes. It was not a

controlled movement. couldn't get my pediatrician to be concerned.

this went on for a week or more and finally she had a fullblown

seizure where she vomited and went into a vacant stare. They

hospitalized her for tests and found nothing. I had her on seizure

med for a year and then she seemed fine and I quit. Anyhow, I never

gave her the dpt again. ONly the dt. I also question the safety of

the perussis booster they are going to try and force on everyone.

They don't give the pertussis after five years old now, because of

its

potential for problems in older children. I also didn't get sarah

her

hepatitis B vaccines even though it is required by law in illinois by

fourth grade. I just had my doctor excuse me. I told him lupus runs

inmy husbands family (and it does bigtime) and that I had read where

the lupus foundatiion was studying the relationship betwwen the

vaccine and developing lupus. He wrote me a note excusing me from

the

vaccine. Anyway, hepatitis B is mostly sexually transmitted. So I

agree with with the vaccines.

Hugs

Kathy
