HI..

I can only add.. I was nervous about explant as well

but, just as I was reassured, it went fine and was

nothing like having them put in.

I recall Rogene writing that she stunned her doctors

by being able to get off of thyroid meds. I hope to do

the same thing. I recall also that Patty has hashi's

but apparently she is stabilized on her medication...

She wrote that she often forgets to take it because

she feels so good. I'm sure they will write to you and

give you the first hand scoop.

I am only 2.5 weeks explant.. shockingly.. and I am

already feeling stronger everyday. The gnawing sadness

I had (and didn't know it) has lifted, my energy at

the moment is like it was pre ba. I realize everyone

has this honeymoon period followed by a crash but... I

don't think this is just a honeymoon.. there's more to

this than that.

It's common sense.. put the implants in and felt like

hell, took them out and started feeling way better...

no placebo effect here.

So, to sum it up , as you know, there are no

guarantees. Nobody ever guaranteed that I would

recover.. but like you see yourself, you didn't have

these symptoms pre implant.. neither did I, neither

did most others who became sick.. makes sense doesn't

it? That's why I went with the decision to explant,

even though the " professionals " said I was wrong, it

made logical sense.

There's no way to tell which symptoms will disappear

with explant . . . Many women report that some

symptoms disappear immediately, some take longer,

while some linger.

It's important that your implants be removed properly,

and that you make a committment to detoxing. The

longer the implants remain, the more likely the

problems will persist because of damage done to your

tissues.

However, the ability of the body to recover is

remarkable. It's as though it strives to be healthy,

to repair itself if just given a chance!

I had implants 16 years. They've been out for 12. With

the type of implant I had, the chances for a complete

recovery, after that length of time, aren't that good.

While I still have a few symptoms, I have a good life

again. I can manage the symptoms that are left to the

point that I don't know I have a problem - until I

push my limits too far.

It's definitely worth the effort it takes to get well.

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene

What happens with saline implants exactly...it is the silicone bags

that infect the tissue, or what exactly? Because if the saline leaks

then it just passes with the urine, so how do the implants cause the

problems exactly (i.e. the bags). Sorry to be so ignorant...S.

No, the saline does not just pass throug the urine. What remains in

the sack becomes infected and the bacteria turns to mold and

fungus... along with the fact that the silicone sacks are

manufactured with platinum and mercury. Apparently the valves have a

very high breaking rate and the implants do NOT always deflate with

broken valves. this is when the bacteris is introduced.

S,

You're dealing with several possible issues . . .

First bacteria can build up on the inside, or the

outside of your implant . . . Very dangerous stuff!

It's the stuff toxic shock is caused by.

Secondly, you can be sensitive to the materials the

implant is made from. You may start out mildly

sensetive, and progress to more agressive sensitivity

with prolonged exposure.

Third . . . the shell of all breast implants gradually

degrade, releasing materials (like platinum or tin),

into your system. Platinum is a very potent

neurotoxin. Tin isn't much better.

The number of health problems that can result are

virtually endless. Seemingly it strikes the weakest

link in a woman's body, then progresses from there.

Hugs,

Rogene
