Guest guest
Kim, I haven't heard of any doctors in that area . . . But that doesn't mean that you can't find one. I'd suggest getting on the phone and calling plastic surgeons until you find one willing to discuss removing your implants en bloc, with drains. Phone calls are free . . . If, and when, you find a doctor willing to commit, make an introductory appointment to size him/her up for yourself. Don't let them give you any BS about implants being safe, about needing to replace them, being disfigured without them, etc., etc. . . . If they say you will be saggy, tell them you want to discuss a mastopexy (lift). The surgeon shouldn't charge for an initial visit. If they do, move onto the next doctor! You can take information with you to the visit regarding the importance of removing implants en bloc. You can tell him about this group, Dr. Blais, explantation.com, and give him the names of doctors who do explants properly. There is plenty of information in our archives! I have a strong feeling that, with a little effort, you will be able to find a doctor close to you. It wouldn't hurt to let the doctor know this group is always looking for excellent explant doctors in your area. Just don't expect the doctor to agree that implants can make you sick. Most likely you won't get any comment. All of our recommended doctors will use breast implants if the situation calls for it - So you can't let that can't be a qualifier. Guest guest
This is the only one on our list from those three states: Dr. R. Sanger Dept. Plastic Surgery and Reconstructive Surgery, Medical College of Wisconsin 9200 W. Wisconsin Ave. Milwaukee, WI 53226 (414)454-5440 http://www.mcw.edu/plastics/whoweare/bios/sanger.html (Make sure he will remove your implants " en bloc " and perform a total capsulectomy if possible) Other than that little bit of info, I know nothing about this man, but it is a start for you. Hope that helps! Patty > i thought I would post again to see if any one knows of any > surgeons who do the en-bloc procedure in the Minnesota, Iowa, > wisconsin area.
