Guest guest
Cheryl, Are you following a diet that is free of sugar, refined grains, processed foods, chemicals? This type of diet is essential to getting yeast under control. " The Maker's Diet " is an excellent book . . . www.appleadayandbeyond.com. Also, read a book like " The Yeast Connection " so you can see what you're dealing with. If you want to see what sugar does to yeast, put one teaspoon of baker's yeast in two glasses. Add 1/2 cup of warm water. Then put a teaspoon of yeast in just one glass. Give it a little time to work . . . and you'll see what I mean! Sugar is just food for those little critters! Look at it as a two-pronged attack. First, you must get the yeast/fungal organisms under control. That's where Diflucan, Nystatin and Fungal Defense come in. Raw crushed garlic, Oil of Oregano and grapefruit seed extract is excellent too. Then comes replacing the yeast/fungal organisms with the healthy organisms your body MUST have to keep these organisms under control on its own. That's where naturally fermented foods, organic foods, Primal Defense and Acidopholis come in. All in all, it takes a lot of discipline and time. There's certainly no quick fix! The prescriptions you're taking can be dangerous to your liver if taken long term. Your doctor should be monitoring your liver enzymes. Also, your body can build up resistance to the prescription meds so it's best not to stay on them continuously. Also, when you're working at getting rid of these organisms, you MUST drink a lot of water. The die-off of these organisms is toxic. You must keep flushing these organisms so they don't accumulate. A liver flush would probably be a big boost. Check the liver flush information at www.curezone.com. I recommend the flush using Epsom Salts, Grapefruit juice and Olive oil. When I first did the flush, the stones I passed were completely black. I was told that was fungus. Now, the stones I pass are light tan to light green. Is there any place you could go to use an infrared sauna? . . . even a dry or steam sauna? The heat can help kill off some of these organisms. Hope this helps! Maybe some of the other ladies here can offer some more suggestions! Hugs, Rogene >
Guest guest
I don't know if you are anything like me, but whenever I have tried to kill off yeast, I get more symptoms, not less. I even get vaginal yeast infection when I am using strong antiyeast supplements. It seems weird, but it is true. I think I read one other lady say the same thing but it may have been on the candida site I monitor. So it is possible that you are taking too many antifungals at once and overwhelmingly your body and its ability to process all that die off. That isnt good either. I suggest you stick to one med at a time (hopefully not diflucan which can be toxic to the liver). Also, I have read that nystatin can cause yeast to change to the mycelial form. Don't know if its true but have read it more than one place. The mycelial form is more invasive and harder to get rid of. I would actually do the garlic-- lots of it and oil of oregano or the like. It seems that natural substances work better. Olive leaf extract takes a while but is very effective also. You didn't get sick in aday and you won't get rid of these problems in a day either. Many many people make the mistake of detoxing too heavily and make themselves worse. It is best to try one or just a few things at a time so you can evaluate what helps and what doesn't and not to overwhelm. And yes, it is much easier to detox without the implants. We have seen women--Iggy comes to mind--who faithfully did all kinds of detox, with no improvement until explanted--then she got so much better in a short amount of time. So please don't get discouraged. It can be a long road, but you will get there. Hugs Kathy > Cheryl, > > Are you following a diet that is free of sugar, > refined grains, processed foods, chemicals?
