Guest guest
Yup, sure did, and my husband did them too. I think I did 2 or 3, can't remember. They are not all that complicated...just a matter of basically fasting for an afternoon and evening, taking several doses of epsom salts in the evening to help open up those bile ducts, and then drinking a bunch of olive oil/grapefruit juice to flush the gallbladder before you go to bed. In the morning there are a couple more doses of epsom salts to keep the stuff moving out, so it takes a weekend to do it and recover. Some people have been very cautious about doing these. I agree that caution may be necessary. But I did not feel worse from doing mine, and in fact, I think they helped me heal. There are several liver flushes that are very easy to do to start. We have one listed in our files section that is a morning juice drink. I'll post it. However, even that one may seem like alot of work compared to one that Kathy talked about, I think....it was something like a tablespoon of lemon juice and olive oil mixed and taken first thing in the morning. Perhaps Kathy can jump in hre to help with that one. Here is the easier version of a liver flush in our files: The Liver Flush 1. Mix fresh-squeezed citrus juices together to make 1 cup of liquid. Orange and grapefruit work well, but always include lemon or lime. The more sour the taste, the more cleansing and activating the mixture. You may want to dilute to taste with distilled water. 2. Add 1-2 cloves of fresh-squeezed garlic, along with a small amount of fresh- squeezed ginger juice, obtained by grating ginger on a cheese grater and pressing the fibers in a garlic press. 3. Add one tablespoon of quality cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil, shake well and drink. 4. Follow the flush with 2 cups of cleansing tea such as Polari-Tea (recipe follows). 5. Polari-Tea is made with equal parts of fennel, fenugreek, flax and pepper- mint, along with one quarter part licorice and one-quarter part burdock root, simmered for 20 minutes and steeped for 10. These herbs can be purchased at herb and health food stores. 6. Drink this flush in the morning and don't eat any other food for 1 hour. To amplify the cleansing action, you may wish to fast, drinking fresh fruit and vegetable juices. Hobbs also mentions taking an enema of one half lemon mixed with one quart of tepid distilled water, retaining it for 10-15 minutes if possible. Lemon juice is an excellent cleanser because citric acid in the juice binds with and removes heavy metals and toxic matter accumulated in the body. Hope this will work out for you. Guest guest
Hi, I am not sure why these sound so comlicated to me. I guess I just like to eat and not fast. I am going to try a couple of these soon. I will let everyone know how I fare and if I have any weird or uncomfortable experiences. Guest guest
- The lemon/olive oil drink isn't really considered a flush but it acts like a miniflush. It is certainly very good for you and is often recommended on antibiotic therapy sites as a way to help reduce pain and tone down a herx. It does work I can attest to that. I have seen AIDS sites recommend it to boost the immune system. They recommend it three times a day. I would definitely recommend it, but it won't have the immediate impact of a liver flush. I don't know if it would actually cause you to pass any stones. Hugs kathy -- In , " glory2glory1401 " <glory2glory1401@y...> wrote: > Yup, sure did, and my husband did them too. Guest guest
- GAbriella You don't necessarily have to fast. I didn't. I kind of decided on the spur of the moment to do the cleanse as I was already taking magnesium oxide and it was clearing everything out. So I decided what the heck and took the olive oil mixture a couple of hours after supper and went and laid down. It still worked. I didn't count stones but I know I saw at least a few. I totally felt energetic the next day. Some people do parasite cleanses first. Some religiously prepare by drinking alot of apple juice for the days before, etc. Some people think it makes a difference and others don't. The recipes I have seen don't call for fasting. You eat breakfast and lunch and then dont eat supper. That wouldn't be too bad. Kathy -- In , la Todarello <tasslekitty@y...> wrote: > > > Hi, > > I am not sure why these sound so comlicated to me. Guest guest
Hi, That sounds very reassuring. I need to eat regular meals, I do not do well when I don't eat. My kids are so full of energy I need to eat to keep up with them. GT --- mikat828 <mikat828@...> wrote: > - > > GAbriella > You don't necessarily have to fast. I didn't. Guest guest
- It is the juice of one lemon--actually you are supposed to use the whole lemon with the rind and all-blend it and strain it, andthen add the one tbsp. of olive oil. I dont' do that because for some reason that doesn't agree with me. I just squeeze the lemon and then add the oil. It has always given me good results even though I am sure that doing it the other way might be slightly more effective. I truly believe in this and also of the health benefits of good organic olive oil in general! Guest guest
Hi Kathy, I do a similar flush also.. but I don't juice the rind.. that's the skin right? I don't juice the rind because I was told that the skin is loaded with mold, organic or not and that worsens candida. I thought maybe that could be why it doesn't agree with you with the rind. Guest guest
Dearest Ladies: Would you like it if I posted my breast implant records here? Then you would see firsthand how many closed capsulomoties and open capsulotomies I had over the first few years after being implanted. This procedure is no longer allowed. Love always....Lea ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`````` Re: Patty and liver flushes..Kathy? > - > It is the juice of one lemon--actually you are supposed to use the > whole lemon with the rind and all-blend it and strain it, andthen > add the one tbsp. of olive oil.
