Guest guest
We cant orgasm because our brains are damaged. This device is for people with spinal cord damage. I highly doubt it would work for us:( orgasmatron...whaaat? Hi all, I'm not taking this very seriously, but has anyone heard of this Orgasmatron thing? I stumbled across it somehow, but any article I can find-- and there aren't many-- are very outdated-- from 2003-2008. It's apparently some electrode thing that this doctor hooked up to someone's spinal cord and made them have an instant orgasm. When he tested it on people who never had an orgasm before, they expressed they felt pleasure and those who've had an orgasm recognized it as such. While this would certainly take away the " spontaneity " of sex, I would take it—because I can't orgasm at all…I can feel vaginal contractions with a vibrator, but no pleasure…or at best an extremely muted orgasm by rubbing (like a 1 on a 10 point scale). You literally press a button and get an orgasm. Not sure how it would work on our demographic group, but again, read that it did work on folks who never had one before. Here's one link to it: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,332508,00.html Anyway, I'm not taking it ver
Guest guest
well, it's not for people w/ spinal cord damage...originally it was done to help someone with spinal pain or something, and she experienced an orgasm. he tried it out on people who either had orgasms in the past and lost the ability, and those who never had an orgasm, and 4/5 of those who had had them in teh past were able to regain the ability. Unfortunately, I'm more in teh " never really had an orgasm " category...though I guess I sort of did once...so not so sure it would work for me > > > > We cant orgasm because our brains are damaged. Guest guest
It would be great if it would work, but if that part of our brain is damaged, how would it work for us? I am assuming that the orgasmatron directly stimulates the part of the brain that is responsible for orgasm. Therefore nerve transmission through the spinal cord is bypassed. In our case, how can the damage be bypassed, when the source of pleasure in the brain is damaged? orgasmatron...whaaat? > > Hi all, > > I'm not taking this very seriously, but has anyone heard o
