Dearest Friends:

Good morning, each day brings something new. I love mornings, but not like I used to. My spirit has been broken because of the injustices that have been inflicted on the sick women. Most of these women have had long-term silicone ruptures and heart conditions.

Do any of you ladies know what these women can do?Heyer-Shulte is very hard to litigate against. I'm not sure how to help these women, one women who had her silicone for 25 years has such a bad heart condition. When she found out that her case would be difficult, she left her husband and I have not heard from her since.

How do we help these women? I wish that I had become a lawyer because I would be able to help these women. Please read this ladies note, I'm not sure what she did for a living, but she might have been in the police force.

If anyone has any advice for her please let me know.

Thank you....love....Lea

Thanks Lea: You have been such a support. I am determined not to be swept under a rug. Canadian women continueto be abused by the politics of big corporations concerning compensation for injuries. I have talked to my lawyer heretoday. Deloitte & Touche have let us women down when we cannot claim ruptures and medical conditions from Dowraw materials. I cannot believe the Canadian government was inclined once again the approve silicone-gel for implants. At least that was squashed for now. I appreciate your caring. I have also had such support from Dr. Blais all included inmy injury claim that is worth $300. Because my implants were identified by him as Heyer Schulte I will try an independent injury suit against Baxter Corporation that has taken over Heyer Schulte liability for implants. I only hope this Baxter Corporation is not affiliated with the Dow Corning/BC & Other Provinces litigation settlement. I also hope that I may still be able to opt out of the class-action if there is a conflict. I am sorry I didn't listen to you before when you said you didn't think much of class-action suits. Well, the fight for our rights continues. I will start all over again. Best wishes for your good healthOn 27-Apr-05, at 5:22 PM, Lea wrote:

Honey, let me talk to my . He has done so much research on litigation, he might find a way that we can help you. I'm so sorry that you are being abused by the law too. We have a friend who was with the RCMP here in Edmonton who went to work for Deloitte and Touche. He resigned from the force, he had a sister who was sick from breast implants. I do not understand what this company is doing regarding litigation. I have never heard of them being involved before your case...wonders me. It seems like everyone wants a piece of the action. We really have become Cash Cows for so many companies. Dr. Blais might be able to help you, he knows plenty about the legal process here in Canada. It might be worth your while to give him a call. Have you called the Law Society of Alberta because they have lawyers who might take your case. You have the right to opt out of any class action and litigate one on one, like me. Take care, we will try to help you...love always...Lea~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~````Subject: Deloitte claim - Dow Corning

Dear Lea: I hope you have been keeping fine. I haven't written for a while as I have been waiting to hear from Deloitte and Touche in Vancouver. Sure enough, after all my medical preparation was submitted, substantiated by

our Dr. P Blais in Ottawa, their claims office wrote a deficiency letter stating that I could only submit a raw materials

claim for dow materials because I have product proof from Dr. Blais that my implants were Heyer Schulte implants with Dow Corning raw materials. The raw materials claim is for $330. (so ridiculous) and that I cannot claim any Options for medical or Rupture.

What can I do? It was the raw materials that created the toxins in my body that made me sick. I am beside myself

with fury. Any ideas?

Regards,
