Guest guest
One of our members sent a message telling me that she had a bad experience with Epsom salts. . . Because I'm concerned, I deleted the recent message telling about 13 ways to use Epsom salts because there may be more to it than we understand. I knew of one case where Epsom salts made matters worse. In this case, a 100 year old, diabetic woman had an open wound on her leg that didn't heal. They soaked her foot every night. The Epsom salts made the wound worse. Her neuropathy was so bad that she couldn't feel the pain. She developed gangrene and died. While Epsom salts may be great for most of us (I use it regularly), if one has an open wound, poor circulation, or sensitive skin they probably shouldn't use it, at least without doing a skin test (even if the doctor tells you to use it!) If you haven't used Epsom salts before, I'd suggest applying a small amount of diluted Epsom salts to your skin . . . if you have a burning sensation, rinse it off immediately and do not use Epsom salts at all. God Bless all! Rogene
