Formal Investigation into the Manufactures of breast

implants because of the medical problems of the

children born and breast-fed by a mother with breast

implants.

REQUEST FOR A FORMAL INVESTIGATION OF THE

MANUFACTURERS

To whom it may concern:

It has come to my attention that, because the FDA

advisory panel has recommended approving the saline

implant, women are resting assured that it is safe to

breast-feed with breast implants. The manufacturers

are well aware of the FACT that saline implants,

especially older ones, can grow unsafe fungi and

unsafe microbial growth.

Dr. Leroy Young, who is an " expert " in this field has

studied this contamination but, has yet to study the

effects of this unsafe fungi, bacteria and chemicals

(in the silicone shell) on babies. The manufacturers'

experts and the FDA have not studied the effects on a

fetus or nursing infant if exposed to this unsafe

contamination.

THAT IS CRIMINAL. To continue to deny this travesty is

unacceptable.

Who is going to answer to the woman who decides to

have a baby and then breast-feed because of the

recommendation of the panel?

Who is going to answer to her when, upon explantation,

she learns that unsafe fungi and unsafe bacteria grew

on and in her implant?

Who is responsible if her baby becomes ill or worse

yet, dies?

Who is responsible?
