Guest guest
I noticed that absence seizures were discussed at the conference according to Sue's report. Our daughter has been suffering from absence seizures since 6 months old. She is seeing a new neurologist in December. Anything I should ask? She's currently taking Tegretol and was on Depakote for 7 years. Does the medication stop neuron damage? Thanks, Shari
Guest guest
Dr. McCandless didn't really spend much time on this, other than to say that you should watch your child for them, and see a neurologist for treatment if necessary. Obviously, you are way beyond that step! Maybe she'll have more information for you when she gets back (especially since she has a neurology background). I think she said she'll be in AL through the end of this week. ~Sue
