So if I'm replying from there, it's all or nothing, and I have to be careful to note to whom I'm replying. Lynn Lynn, On the iPad, in the reply of an email you have the choice to select, select all, or paste. You don't have the choice to just select before you hit reply. You should just be able to move the blue dots to highlight just the text you want and " select " only. Then you should be able to copy, or cut. and then paste that text where you want it.
