Just another data point: my accountant told me that in Missouri there is a $150ish filing fee and then that's it for LLC. She also told me not to bother as long as I was the only employee, because apparently there is precedent here to let sue-ers go right past the LLC to personal assets, and long as I *am* the company. If I were to have a partner or a secretary or something, that would be different.
