Guest guest
I have always recommended it before the birth - perhaps 5-6 weeks or so. and then after birth as well. It is a uterine tonic and helps afterwards as well. I see no need for it generally in the first trimester but there could be individual applications for that or uses with it that i am unfamiliar with. it is very well known here for that. When I worked with the health food company women would come in asking for it a lot! sinvegan wrote: I forgot! Guest guest
Thank you so much Ilanit! I had recommended it to a client who is 'trying' to get pregnant because I heard it not only helps with fertility but starts toning the uterus. Of course I told her before she start to check with her health care provider. Also because she is in my mom's group where the topic came up lots of the mommys said they were taking it and those who weren't were going to pick it up. After the session I had a panic attack at home wondering if there were any contraindications I was unaware of as theses moms are all at different stages. So far everything I'm looking up to try to calm myself down says it is a great thing to drink from painful periods, to wanting to get pregnant and for the entire pregnancy. I've learned my lesson from my panic attack though, always always when giving such advice to new moms tell them to check with their caregiver. If I had been wrong and it turned out to be a bad thing and I hadn't said that I think I could have been liable if anything did go wrong with one of them. Ohhh I'm blabbering on. Thank you for your reply, and happy new year! " ...become the change you envision." Guest guest
Calm down! I am sure that no one will be harmed by rasberry tea! Your concern though is admirable Lemoine wrote: Thank you so much Ilanit! any tome! I had recommended it to a client who is 'trying' to get pregnant because I heard it not only helps with fertility but starts toning the uterus. yes - I do believe it can promote fertility - I don't have experience with that use though - I am sure there is tons of info online though. there are some great preconception care books around - some written by aussies - better babies is one and there is also a book called NAtural Fertility by Francesca -ooh the last name escapes me now Of course I told her before she start to check with her health care provider. Also because she is in my mom's group where the topic came up lots of the mommys said they were taking it and those who weren't were going to pick it up. So far everything I'm looking up to try to calm myself down says it is a great thing to drink from painful periods, to wanting to get pregnant and for the entire pregnancy. I am sure it would not do any harm - I was just refereing to its use in helping prepare the uterus for birth - apparently for all births but especially first time mothers. It is also used for endometriosis and pelvis issues I've learned my lesson from my panic attack though, always always when giving such advice to new moms tell them to check with their caregiver. yes and do their own research - everyone is ultimately responsible for their own choices in what to take and eat for you panic attacks have you looked into the Buteyko breathing which not only affects that but every body system? there is tons of info online - it is amazing the book Breathing Free by Theresa Hale (inhale or exhale?! ;-) is a great self help guide to it. there is also a lot of good info on breathing and panic attacks online I typed in Causes of overbreathing into google the other day and got some great results If I had been wrong and it turned out to be a bad thing and I hadn't said that I think I could have been liable if anything did go wrong with one of them. I dont know the legalities but I think people need to be responsible for their own actions and choices. I think you worry too much. I always feel that if I know something that could help then it is my duty to share that with the caution that they need to check it out for themselves and look into any possible negative outcomes whether it involves natural methods or otherwise. A little common sense goes a long way but is not always so common these days. so your care and concern and deep thiking about the consequences of your recommendations and actions is rare and admirable. You are recognized here for being a bright spark! keep shining! Ohhh I'm blabbering on. Thank you for your reply, and happy new year!
