Guest guest
Thanks ! I guess I need to get on the stick and get tested again to see what is going on (whether or not I have any more antibodies to my thyroid and if I do, if celiac disease is a factor.) I have been feeling really good, so I am not too worried about it, but it has been about a year and a half since I was last tested. Guess it is time. I just hate going to the doctor! Blah! What is the exact test name that I should ask for? Thanks . Glad to hear you are doing so well and getting so close to having your baby!! Guest guest
Thanks for the great info ! Can you list that website again? I only saw the wwww. part. I know I passed this info on to Daryl-- printed it off and sent it to her in the mail, because I think she needed to get her and her son tested for it too. If I still test positive for Hashimoto's then I will definitely do this test and get to the bottom of it. It's so exciting to know that you have seen such absolutely great results from addressing this! I will buy that book " Dangerous Grains. " Sounds really good. Our family and businesses are doing awesome! Thanks for asking! You'll have to write me privately and tell me how things are going for your husband's new business too! As for the boys, well, , that just means that God knows you do boys best! I didn't get my girl until the third try, and then I got another boy the 4th time around. And I have to say, I am proud of my boys. They are responsible, kindhearted guys. (And my girl has been a perfect angel too.) Kids are one of God's great blessings! I know that whatever God has planned for your growing family it is all leading to joy and happiness! Look how far you have come! We have a woman in our Bible study group who had 4 boys. When they got married and started having kids, guess what...they had all boys too! She is surrounded by the male species! Can you imagine if a little girl comes along in that family? whew--she is going to be one spoiled little girl! I am so glad that you, your little boy, and your soon to be born baby are doing so well! Thanks for staying with us and sharing your experiences and good news ! Love, Patty Patty, you can ask for starters an antigliadon antibody test, if that comes up positive ,it means your body is making antibodies to gluten, and you at least know that you have an immune reaction and at the very least-an intolerance to it. (although thats not enough for most docs, they then want an invasive expensive biopsy-but the more recent naturapths and other internests think its a sign to def stay away) More specific to celiac, the transglutaminase Iga is more clear for tissue damage due to gluten reaction . However, I am IGA defeceint, meaning some people do not make IGA antibodies, so I needed further testing. Most people will show something on either of these two tests if gluten intolerant or have full blown celiac disease. And the book " dangerous Grains " is an exceptional book, esp with a chapter on how Hashimoto's is linked as one of the most triggered disease from gluten) Remember, I also did the bowel testing, very integretive! Its great- for showing the earlier signs of damage to the gut and also immune reactions in the gut, and bowels, before some show it in thier blood years later. It was about 250.00 for three tests, but insurancce reimbursed me 90%. The company was www. It showed Tylers reaction so much more than in his blood, as this is where it starts, the gut is the biggest immune organ there is, that the gastro did not need a biopsy to rule it in with these bowels tests results and and also the blood. I had minimal stomach damage, but more immune markers, and reaction, while Tyler respresented alot of gastro issues and damage. (not to mention moodiness and ezcema, which is gone, gone , gone) Knowing what i know, If I had an auto immnue disease ( esp diabetes, thyroid and RA) and or skin or respatory allergies, stomach problems, or female problems, I would get it tested just to rule it out. 97% of Americans are undiagnosed. Not to say all these people have it, but just to rule it out. It has been a major step in my regained health. I felt awesome, PAtty. Realy. I am glad to hear you are as well. How is businesss and family? I am getting close, but PAtty it is another boy. Sorry, if I sound spolied, Im excited to meet him and know I will love him to death, but I wanted a girl so badly. I am from 3 sisters and didnt know what to do with Tyler. I always envisioned have girls. I know God knows what he is doing, but is was so in my heart to have a girl and be done! Now, Im afraid, if I try again, I'll have a team of boys! Anyway, fill me in. >
Guest guest
So you are having another boy?!? I think that's great. Now tyler will have a brother that he will probably be close to the rest of his life! My husband had four sisters and how he wished for a brother to pal around with!! I know you will just love him to death. My sister had a 2 boys and had to wait for her grandchild and now has a grandaughter that she absolutely spoils!!! Your right, God knows what He is doing, and who knows, if you want a third, it may be a girl. Someone who goes to my church had 2 boys and decided to try again. Third time she got her girl! Then 3 years later she accidentally got pregnant and now has 2 boys and 2 girls. You just never know. What is your due date again? I bet you are getting anxious. Guest guest
OOPS!! I am replying to posts as I read them. So ignore the one asking when the baby is due! It sounds like things are going fantastic and I couldn't be happier for you and your precious family. I am surprised that you only gained seven pounds. The doctor is ok with that? He doesn't think you are hyperthyroid does he? Of course, I think you gain the most in the final months so hopefully you will gain at least 10 more pounds! I know so many people who have kids with their birthdays close to a sibling or their parent. with 365 days in a year, you would think that wouldn't happen so much! Please tell me where you got the delicious Pizza and bread---I am dying to know. I would love to have some great bread and pizza. Do you know where I can buy some good mosticiolli noodles? I really miss it. I am doing better again. Trying some new things and determined to get past the hump with my detox issues. God has blessed me and I truly belive that the rest of my healing is around the corner! It is good to to hear from you. love kathy >
