Shana, I have stiff joints and swelling, in my fingers, hands and feet. I had a positve inflammatory markers, as well as a high C reaction protein and exhibited all the symtpoms, fatigue , and joint swelling mostly in the am. I was then diagnosed by a rhuemy at 26 with that,, and thyroid disease. I chose not to go on their meds, and got explanted, I also went on the www.roadback.com.

They have a wonderful protocol for RA, and other disease triggered by the belief that infection, esp Mycoplasmal infections, of which I tested positve for-bury deep within the tissues and cause inflammatory diseases. I then went on an low dose antibiotic therapy for it, for over a year to get to that infection, and now am RA free. I believe the implants casued this infection, and also the inflammatory response.

Getting them out ,enabled my body the strength to then take on therapies and get welll. They truely were a huge burden on my immnue system. But for some, getting them out is the 1st step, then you must deal with the chaos and inbalances they left behind to get truely well. Does that makes sense? KAthy also have wonderful info on this as well. Love julie

Welcome , here's my story..I just turned 24 & had a 1yr old son, I never had any symptoms or problems with my health, but on Jan 30, 2004 I got smooth saline implants & 2wks after my surgery is when it all started....panic/anxiety attacks, extreme lightheadedness, sinus/eye pressure, constant flu-like feelings, heart palpations, burning zaps thruout my body, hands/feet ached, weird tingling thruout my body, extreme fatigue, red blotches in my eyes, chest pain, internal vibrating or shaking feeling, sharp achey pains thruout, parts of my body would feel like they were "asleep" a feeling of weakness in my left arm, then later my legs, I could go on & on with the symptoms I had, everyday it was a new symptom that came about, after going from Dr to Dr, having tests done on me, several ER visits,

and everytime a Dr would tell me, no its not your implants, but we don't know what else is going on with you. I knew that for me that wasn't normal since I had always lived a life of perfect health, so 6 months later On Aug 12, 2004 I had them out by my original PS & I left my capsules in. I just wanted them out! Its been quite a few months since my explant & I felt better instantly with some of my symptoms, but it has been a long road for the other of my symptoms, I have been detoxing, drinking lots of water, taking supplements & I'm under the care of a wonderful Naturopathic Dr. You will get your health back, but its going to take some time. I was very ill very quickly its amazing how ill saline implants can make you. Sorry that was so long but I wanted to share my situation with you!! , "carrielynnfrank" <legalgrl@h...> wrote:> >

Gerri,

Welcome to the group. Brace yourself for a lot of

information and loving support! This is an incredible

group!

You're the third woman who's written in the past

couple weeks that Mentor has sent her an implant for

testing. Did they tell you what kind of testing your

doctor could do with it? Supposedly those babies are

worth several hundred dollars! . . . Sounds like

they're treating them like the junk they are! This is

crazy? . . . Maybe the originator of this idea has a

silicone brain implant!

If you will take a few hours to review information in

the archives of this group, I think you will be able

to gather enough information to satisfy your insurance

company that your implants MUST come out.

Click on the first link below, then on Messages. You

can use key words to search the archives. . . . Look

for " Dr. Blais " . . . " ionized platnimum " . . .

If you've been having a lot of medical bills, your

insurance company should realize that keeping your

implants in you is going to cost them more money than

removing them. You're welcome to refer them to this

group if you'd like. We have so many success stories

of women getting better, that alone should convince

them.

Even if they decline . . . get a committment from them

to pay for explant if Dr. Blais should discover

dangerous bacteria in them after they are explanted.

Shari was able to get her insurance to pay this way.

Some of the ladies are gearing up to sue Mentor . . .

If you think you may, you will want Dr. Blais to

inspect your implants anyway. You can find some

attorneys to talk to by doing an online search for

" breast implant attorney " , or words to that effect.

Mentor produced an implant with a defective valve,

even after they knew it was defective!

Hope this helps . . . If there's anything we can help

you with, let us now!

Hugs and prayers,

Rogene
