First you'll have to be diagnosed with " wasting " , then when the insurance company sees that, they will look in their magic book and determine that you must use garbage like Megace instead of GH. Guest guest
Good morning: I have had been prescribed Human Growth Hormone by my physician a couple of years ago. For me the side effects where worse than the benefits. So I discontinued the product. We even adjusted the dose down to an acceptable tolerance level. As you know every patient body reacts differently to medication. Now that I said this, there is a method to my madness. I got my medication from my doctor, he got it from another patient who couldn't tolerate the side effects. The medicine was kept at the doctors office and administered to the patient monthly. I believe the patient had a 3 month supply. This has happened with several of his patients, therefore there was medicine on hand for me that had never left the physicians office. No chance of tampering. I don't know if this legal but it is an avenue you can discuss with your physician. Why let something like this go to waste, when other patients may be able to benefit. Good luck.
