Guest guest
Liz, Breast implants have a stong correlation to FM . . . And, doing what it takes to control FM will help you with everything else . . . so, regardless, see if you can learn to control the symptoms. There are some excellent books on FM . . . I'd suggest reading one of them . . . They can explain better than I how everything works together. The important things are quality sleep, moderate exercise, good diet, stress/anger management, stretching (yoga is great), deep theraputic massage is incredible (if you can afford it, or if someone will learn it to help you - like a hubby), far infrared sauna is wonderful. Supplementing with Magnesium (two parts Calicum to one part Mg), can help too. Drinking plenty of pure water is important. Hot baths (especially Epsom salts or clay baths) . . . heat helps too. Listen to your body and stop when it says STOP! If you'll keep a daily journal of how you feel, what you eat, your level of activity, etc., soon you'll be seeing parallels between your lifestyle and your symptoms. Then, when flares occur, they won't be as upsetting because you'll be able to see how far you've come and know you will soon feel much better.
